CNS Parasitic Infection
Learning Objective of CNS Parasitic Infections:
1. Understanding the ability of Plasmodium in Infecting CNS and able to diagnose cerebral malaria.
2. Understanding the ability of Toxoplasma gondii in infecting CNS and the role of immune response in its pathogenesis.
3. Awareness of other potential parasites/pathogens able to cause CNS infection (and the diagnosis).
